an independently owned and operated pawnshop.
We are located in the Lower Mainland of
British Columbia, Canada, just 45 minutes
east of the world renowned beautiful city
of Vancouver. KeyLargo
has been in business for 15 years and are

have also served as members of the Board of
Directors of the British
Columbia Pawnbrokers Association for the
last 6 years.

is licensed and regulated by the City
of Langley, the B.C.
Government and the Federal
Government. We have been involved with the
development of our Provincial & Municipal
bylaws for pawnbrokers that provide consumer
protection and pawnbroker procedures. Locally,
we support The Victims Services branch of our
local police detachment by providing them with
soft cuddly teddy bears for their emergencies
involving children. Also are very active in
community non-profit organizations and service
clubs, to give a little back to our community.

We
provide small collateral loans that most
financial institutions find too expensive
to provide. We also purchase personal property
from those that wish to trade up or wish
to just sell. our specialty is CUSTOM
DESIGN JEWELLERY! If you can draw it
we can make it. We also refurbish most of
the unredeemed items and resell them to
the public at substantial savings over retail
store prices! |
OUR
CODE OF ETHICS
KeyLargo
as a member of the BCPA
and the NPA
have committed our organization to contributing
to the professional and personal development
of member pawnbrokers, advocating pawnbroker
rights and responsibilities, and enhancing and
promoting a positive and professional image
to the public, do hereby adopt and embrace the
following Code of Ethics:
EACH
MEMBER SHALL:
- Strive
to operate their business in such a manner
as to enhance and promote the positive and
professional image of all pawnbrokers.
- Obey
the laws that are enacted by the local, provincial
and federal governments. Specifically, MEMBERS
WILL NOT DEAL IN STOLEN MERCHANDISE AND WILL
ASSIST IN PROSECUTING THOSE WHO DO!
- Shall
treat all customers and competitors with due
consideration and respect.
- Shall
co-operate with law enforcement personnel
with respect to their own rights, the rights
of their customers and the rights of the law
enforcement officers.
- Shall
assist the B.C.
Pawnbrokers Association in preserving
the good name and image of the Association.
- Shall
operate his/her business in such a manner
as to enhance the image of pawnbrokers.
- Shall
co-operate with the officers of the Association
when dealing with the day to day business
of cooperating the Association.
- Shall
assist the Association in identifying new
members so that the Association will increase
its membership.
- Shall
assist in the election process to determine
the leadership of the Association.
- Shall
endeavor to keep its financial commitment
to the Association.
